So, I had thought about not posting resolutions or goals, but honestly, I love making lists, and I love making goals. Sooo, I couldn't resist.
In the comments on the last post, you guys mentioned kid's crafts, food and my hair as the things you would like to see here. I miss posting recipes and kid's crafts and activities so I am totally going to start doing that more often, as in like every week.
and I would love to do a post on my hair! I am going to have to try and scrounge up some pictures of me when I was younger. :)
Blogging goals:
-post one recipe a week, (and maybe a weekly recap of our meals?)
-post one kid activity a week
-post a weekly recap of my 365 pictures.
-maybe post what I wear, as motivation to get my style together. :P
and then some personal goals would be:
-work out! I am the saying "skinny doesn't equal healthy" I am not saying I am not healthy, but I would love to be fit. Ideally I would love to join a yoga class.
-I also want to start actually taking some time for myself, Jack is finally growing out of his "I need to be attached to mom 24/7" and Ava is definitely not as "needy" as Jack was. I feel like I can breath a little! So maybe a watercolor class? or well, a yoga class would count too.
-Read even more. I surpassed my goal for the year, and I would like to surpass my goal this year too.
-and already mentioned, but work on my style, or lack thereof.
and now for the changes!
I am sure you noticed by now I changed my blog layout. New year, new blog layout? I love it.
but that is not the change I am talking about. Texas has not held out it's promise and things are stalling here. We have made the decision to relocate to Maryland. This should be happening later this week. I am kind of excited because we will be closer to my family, and Washington DC and it just seems like it will be best in the long run. I will keep you updated!
Oh, neat! My old stomping grounds. Well, kinda. I mostly lived in northern Virginia, but my husband and I did live in College Park, Maryland for a bit, so I'm somewhat familiar with the area.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that! We miss being there.
Oh, I went to college in Northern Virginia! Rossyln to be exact.
DeleteI miss it so much, it is funny, I wanted to move away from Maryland for the longest time, and yet, every time I do, I miss it and end up back there one way or another.
Can't wait for all your blog has coming!! Maryland is closer to where I live :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteNorth Carolina, right? I have a few friends who live there! :)
I think this is my favorite blog layout so far! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo for more posts and fun stuff! I forgot to mention how much I like your kid's crafts, too. I keep thinking I'll try the colored rice, but haven't done it yet.
Thank you! I think it might be mine too.
DeleteI am excited to get back to posting, I miss it.
I drive through MD like once every two months! Hope it works out for you all, for the best!
ReplyDeleteOh cool! Whereabouts do you drive though?
