We drove from Texas, through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and Maryland. Whew! And it rained THE ENTIRE TIME! It was a pretty uneventful trip though and that I am thankful for.
A few thoughts I had while driving...
1. all pop stations start with the letter Z.
2. said pop stations all play about the same half dozen songs and the majority of the songs are terrible.
3. there should be a limit on the number of country stations on at any given moment.
4. there are not nearly enough classic rock stations.
5. I have to get my cd player fixed before I go on another trip.
One good thing did come from listening to the radio, I discovered this song:
I think I love it.
and this song came on, and wow, it took me back. I haven't heard this in forever!
and I did enjoy this song too:
LOVE Of Monsters and Men. Joel got me their album for Christmas and I have been listening to it a bunch in the car.
ReplyDeleteDude, I do not how you made such good time with two little ones! Awesome! Glad you made it safe.
Sorry about your milk supply... that is really painful. I don't know as much as you about nursing- will the right side come back ever? Does the left make enough for Ava?
Ha! I'm visiting from Delirious Rhapsody, you know, a little blog exploration while I multi-task on the internet, and woud't you know it, one of the tasks I assigned myself was to download some new music. So, THANKS!!!
ReplyDeletei love of monsters and men!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I love it. Music definitely makes/breaks our roadtrips! We once made an awesome playlist and had some kind of weird problem happen with our MP3 player so had to listen to the radio the whole day. Great song, static, horrible music, static, only one station and it's NPR, static, what song is that?!, static. Long day!
