There are a lot of things in my life that need to change, some changes could lead to even bigger and potentially scary, life altering changes. For the better, I suppose though. Either way, I have decided this is going to be my motto for the new year:
I really need to start speaking up for myself and the things I want and most importantly, the things I need in life. Which inspires me to share my favorite quote:
A few not so heavy goals for the new year:
Start a project365 on January 01st and actually finish it. I always start and forget, I think maybe if I aim to post a weekly update, maybe I can remember.
and as mentioned in a previous post, I want to work on my wardrobe.
I always have a running list in my mind of things I want to do in this grand old life of mine, and try making different lists and such, like 101 in 1001 days or 28 things before 29, but I think I might just write up a bucket list instead.
Anywhoo, what are your goals, resolutions, aspirations for the new year? Any New Year's Eve traditions?
and last but not least, I wanted to take a picture similar to the one I took last year. It turned out nothing like I expected, but I love it. I think it will be so much fun to see how much this picture changes every year.

That is such a sweet photo tradition! Your kids are absolutely precious!
ReplyDeleteYour tenacity for life always inspires me. I have zero desire to make goals right now, however practical or life-changing they might be. I've been trying to grow out my terrible eyebrows, but anything bigger than the day-to-day stuff right now is too much for me. In fact, I may make a goal of scaling back. :)
Thank you!
Deletehey, scaling back is a good enough goal as any. If it improves your life or makes you happy, that is all that matters. :D
