Loving: Getting back into hooping. It has been amazing and feels so good to be in the hoop. I have learned so many new moves in the past month and it is so much fun. I got a new hoop, a much lighter polypro, which is a lot of fun to use. It makes some moves so much easier, but there is nothing like the feeling of using the heavier hoop. I can feel my muscles getting a good work out when I pick up the heavier hoop. I didn't realize it until I got the lighter hoop though.
Reading: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, it is a good book, but I am reading it slowly. I tend to go through periods of lots of reading and then slowly reading. I have also started reading The Whole Brain Child and was thinking of finishing up Simplicity Parenting.
Watching: I have been watching Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef and let me tell you what, it has lit a fire under my passion for cooking.
Anticipating: Packing for our move to San Antonio. We are looking at leaving here around October 3rd. Also looking forward to Sea World when we get there. We are going for Jack's birthday and we will be able to take advantage of our last military perk, free tickets!
Listening to: FUN, I am loving their song Some Nights. and as always Tom Petty. I love me some Tom Petty.
Making me sad: Jack having to say good bye to his first set of friends. (I have to admit I will not miss Jack's toys and my things being broken though)
Making me happy: The idea of a fresh new start in Texas, of all the possibilities a move can bring. I am looking to make this a fantastic year for our family.
Previous "currently" post.
I love Tom Petty! My family and I are always listening to him while we drive :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo for Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef! I am SO glad there is another person out there (besides my poor husband, who only watches because I ask him to) that is into those shows! :) So... Who do you think will win this season on the shows?
ReplyDeleteSea World will be awesome for you guys. Jack is at that age where he will likely remember how amazing it is when he's older. It's awesome that you can go and take the kiddos.
On Hell's Kitchen it is a toss up between Christina and Justine (I watch on Hulu so I am always an episode behind) and on Master Chef, I think Becky will totally win. I can not wait to see who will win though. And can I just say I am soo glad Robyn is gone!
DeleteWe watch on Hulu, too. Most of the time, I'm too impatient to wait and see who was eliminated, so I always find a recap to read before watching the episode!
DeleteI think it will come down to Dana and Christina on HK, and Dana will win, though I personally prefer Christina.
(I just noticed I added an 'e' to the end of Justin! oops!)
DeleteI guess seeing how spaced out and 'sabotage-y' she was when they were up at the pass and how Gordon was more encouraging to Christina had me thinking she could win, and I do like her much more than Dana. I thought Justin might make it through too over Dana, but it really could be anyone! I can't wait to find out!!!
