Ava update

Yesterday marked 1 week old for Ava. A whole week since she has been born, it is almost hard to believe.
We have been spending a lot of time just snuggling on the couch. She spends a lot of time awake looking around, and a lot of time nursing. She is such a content, happy baby. I think she has cried 4 times the entire week. She smiles in her sleep and coos all the time. I can actually put her down while she is awake or asleep if I need to, which is very helpful seeing as how I also have a three year old. This is a far cry from Jack as a newborn. He was one of those babies who couldn't survive if he wasn't in my arms.
Speaking of Jack, he is doing so well, and is so incredibly helpful. He brought me diapers yesterday without me even specifically asking him, all I did was tell Ava she needed her diaper changed. He loves it when she looks at him too, and if she does get fussy he pats her head and whispers "it's okay Ava, it's okay Ava". He has also found a love for the Power Rangers this week. haha.
